Everyone should be a Tagore: Chiru
Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi today appealed to the
people to become like the hero in his film Tagore to fight out
corruption. Addressing the crowds at Mandasa in North Andhra,
he said: "Each and everyone in the society should become like a
Tagore. Then only our fight against corruption will be won." He
alleged that in view of large scale support for the PRP from
the youth, the ruling party resorted to delete most of their
names from the voters list. He said he would be complaining
about this to the EC.
Allu Arvind met CPM leaders
Producer and PRP leader Allu Arvind today met CPM National
general secretary Prakash Karath in New Delhi. Reports said
that they discussed about various issues like alliances and the
relevant strategies in the coming elections. Ex MP Harirama
Jogaiah also accompanied Arvind. His meeting assumed
significance in the wake of the possible announcement from the
CPM about its stand on alliances before the start of the
party's national conference tomorrow.
Injured youth in Chiru road show died
Madina, the youngster who got injured at wall collapse during
PRP president's road show in Srikakulam yesterday, succumbed to
his injuries today. The incident also left about ten persons
injured. The PRP announced a financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh
to the family members of Madina. Meanwhile, Chiru's Praja
Ankita Yatra will continue in the North Andhra districts for
the next two days.

RCT in Gowtham Menon direction
Ramcharan Tej, who graced the audio launch of Surya s/o
Krishnan at the Screen 5 (Prasad Multiplex) revealed to the
media, speaking as the guest, that he would be doing a film in
the direction of Gowtham Menon, next year. He said that he drew
immense inspiration from Gowtham Menon-Surya combination films
like Khaka Khaka and Ghajini. "I am a big fan of Gowtham," he
said.
Harris Jayraj for RCT-Bhaskar film
Acclaimed music director Harris Jayraj is going to score music
for Ramcharan Tej's film in the direction of Bommarillu
Bhaskar. "Music of Harris Jayraj always inspires me. He is
going to be the music director for my film with Bhaskar. We
already had discussions in this regard," RCT announced this at
the audio release function of Surya s/o Krishna, held at Prasad
Multiplex. Harris Jayraj was also present at the event. Naga
Babu produces this film on Anjana banner.
Media protest against IMAX personnel
Press photographers today staged a protest at the Screen 1 of
Prasad Multiplex, Hyderabad, resenting the inhospitable and
harsh attitude of the Operation personnel of the Prasadz. The
photographers reached the venue to cover the music release
function of Surya-Gowtham Menon's combination film Surya s/o
Krishnan. The official in question was said to have prompted
the security personnel to push away the photographers, despite
knowing that they were officially invited to the film function.
Dismayed at the gesture, they unanimously took a decision not
to click their cameras until and unless the concerned person
had apologized to them. With these uneasy moments prevailed
with the hi-fi gathering including director Gowtham Menon,
Harris Jayraj, Surya, Sameera Reddy, guests Venkatesh,
Ramcharan Tej, Priyamani and others. After a half-an-hour
remonstration, the organizers sought apology on behalf of the
IMAX management, but the press community insisted that the
particular person who behaved rashly should come in person to
tender the apology from the stage. Chief Operations manager
Srikanth too personally apologized to the media, but in vain.
Finally, the official in the troubled matter was brought to the
venue, where he said his "sorry" to the media over mike.

RCT sings for PRP album
The publicity audio album for Praja Rajyam Party with music
scored by Devi Sri Prasad is getting ready. Highlight is that
Ramcharan Tej sang one song (the last one as four were already
recorded) today at a recording studio in Hyderabad. The songs
will be played for the first time tomorrow when PRP President
Chiranjeevi is set to launch his districts-tour from Arasavalli
temple in Srikakulam district. The young hero proved his mettle
not only as a mass hero, but also as a good horse rider and now
as a good singer. Meanwhile, the father-son duo is has shared a
song sequence – Bangaru Kodi Petta – in the forthcoming SS
Rajamouli film.
Yogesh to direct Bansali's film
Acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bansali is going to make a
bilingual soon. Yogesh, director of Venky's Chintakayala Ravi,
will be director for this venture. Yogesh made his debut as
director with Ravi Teja's film Oka Raju Oka Rani (2002).
Case against Raghu in JBH PS
Food World, a food joint in Hyderabad, lodged a complaint with
the Jubilee Hills police station that Raghu, film actor and
brother of hero Ravi Teja, on Tuesday night created nuisance
and manhandled the security guard. The complaint also alleged
that the actor was in a drunken state. The police have
registered a case in this regard and further investigation is
on.
Pawan Kalyan in old city
Pawan Kalyan today visited the old city in Hyderabad as part of
the ongoing Jenda Panduga of Praja Rajyam party in the state.
The actor, who took membership with the party and in-charge of
the security wing of its president and brother Chiranjeevi, has
been touring the districts of Hyderabad and Rangareddy for the
