AVS to back in action
Senior comedian AVS is going to be back before the camera on
September 20. Talking to the media at his residence, he said

Maheshwari to marry on 18th
Actress Maheshwari, cousin of Sridevi, will be getting married
to software pro Jayakrishna (a BITS Pilani alumnus), at
Tirumala on September 18th. Maheshwari came into limelight with
hit films like Pelli and Gulabi. Currently, she is doing a

Chinakayala Ravi on Oct 1
Venky's film Chintakayala Ravi is going to release on October
1st, according to its producer Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji).
The audio will be released in a week. The entire shoot of the
film was done, but for a couple of songs on the lead pair (to
be finished in a couple of weeks). Anushka does the heroine,
followed by Mamta Mohan in the second lead. It has music by
Vishal-Sekhar (of OSO fame).
APF heroine's No to expose
Megha Burman, a Kolkota-based Mumbai-camping girl debuting with
Hari Yelleti's Ankith Pallavi & Friends, said she is currently
engaged with the exercise of picking the right script for her
next film. She told Idlebrain: "I am hearing to some scripts. I
instantly liked Telugu film industry. I wish to seriously
pursue my career here. Anyways, I wish to be far away from
expose. Certainly, I am not comfortable at it. Expose doesn't
make a good artiste. An actress who could do justice to the
director's perception alone is a complete artiste."

Offbeat filmmaker Posani Krishna Murali said that he would

Mamta's song in King
King's Nag is under brisk shooting schedule, completing a song,
two stunts and a major talkie part. It is learnt that Mamta
Mohandas is set to play a female lead, while Trisha plays the
main lead. The singer-and-actress will also have a song
sequence, sources said. The Goa schedule commencing from
September 28th consists of a song and stunt sequence. It will
be followed by canning of vital scenes in Bangalore palace with
forty artistes. The film is planned to release on December
18th.
Baby Shamili as heroine
Baby Shamili, who entered into Tollywood as child artiste in
the film Anjali, is going to turn into heroine in a forthcoming
film, starring Siddarth, in the direction of debutant Anand.
Produced by DVV Danayya on Universal media banner, the flick is
set to roll on October 1st. Incidentally, Baby Shamili's elder
sister Shalini began her career as child artiste and earned a
good name as heroine.
Anushka is Prabhas' heroine
At last its Anushka who is set to play the prime female lead
for hero Prabhas in his ensuing film, the remake of Tamil super
hit film Billa. Anushka will be playing the role which was
enacted by Nayantara in Tamil. Presented by U. Krishnam Raju on
Gopikrishna Movies, it has Meher Ramesh as director. Mani
Sharma scores music. Selection of two more heroines is
underway. This film will be launched on October 9.
