Siddhardh’s Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam for Sankranthi
65% of shoot of Siddhardh’s next film ‘Konchem Istam Konchem
Kastam’ is complete. This film sports Tamanna as heroine in the
direction of Dolly (Kishore Pardhasani). This is his debut
film. Nallamalupu Bujji (producer of Lakshmi, Lakshyam and
Chintakayala Ravi) produces it The main story of the film
revolves around Siddhardh, Tamanna, Prakash Raj (hero’s
father), Ramya Krishna (hero’s mother) and Nazar (heroine’s
father). Brahmanandam and Venu Madhav and others form the
prominent cast. This film sports the best of the technicians
like cinematographer Vijay Chakravarthy (Bommrillu fame), music
director trio Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy and Sreekar Prasad
(editing). Bujji is planning to release the film on January
14th 2009. Audio function will be held on huge scale with live
performances by the musician trio in December 2008.
Kayka audio on Oct 1
The music of Kayka, Teja's film with about two scores of debut
artistes, is going to release on October 1st in Hyderabad. Teja
told Idlebrain that the venue has not yet been decided. Though
the music was thought be releasing in the third week of this
month, it didn't happen. Chakri is the music director. Aditya
is marketing the album. The film is all set for release on
October 9.
Allu Ramalingiah Award to Viswanth
The Padmashri Allu Ramalingaiah Kala Peetham will be honoring
senior director Kalatapasvi K. Viswanath with "Allu
Ramalingaiah Jatheeya Purashkaram" at Hari Hara Kalabhavan,
Secunderabad, in connection with the birth anniversary of
legendary comedian, falling on October 1. The Kalapeetam
president Saripalli Kondalrao made an announcement to this
extent. Famed playback singer P. Susheela, film industry elite
and political leaders would be attending the function. Apart
from the honor, the recipient will receive golden kankanam and
momento.
Chiru, know truth: YSR
Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy alleged that Praja Rajyam
Party President Chiranjeevi has resorted to mudslinging against
his government without knowing the facts about the progress
made. He responded to the comments of Chiru about the plight of
weavers. In this context, YSR said that efforts would be made
to provide livelihood to the weavers on par with the farmers.
He reiterated that it's the responsibility of the government to
uplift the weavers.

Venu in Chintakayala Ravi
So far the news is out that NTR is making his special
appeanrece in Venky's Chintakala Ravi. Afresh, it is reliably
learnt that the tallest hero in Tollywood, Venu, will also be
seen in the film. Nikitha and Sameer (IPL commentator) also did
their small part for this flick. The film's date of release is
pushed by one day to October 2.
PR flag festival: Chiru
Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi announced that the
event – Uroora Praja Rajyam Uroora Pandaga (Praja Rajyam in
Every village; Festival in every village) – will be celebrated
all over the state. He sought the party activists and fans to
unfurl the party flag in all villages, town and cities. He
further sought them to plan one crore saplings on that day, not
merely as a party activity, but with commitment as social
service. The same day, Chiru will be taking the membership of
the party, giving it first to his physically challenged fan
Balakrishna. To start with the district level offices would be
set up, followed by at all mandal and village levels soon,
Chiranjeevi said.

Nandamuri heroes – Balakrishna, NTR, Kalyanram and Tarakaratna
– today held a closeted meeting with TDP president Chandrababu
