Nagababu turns cop-savvy
It is time for Nagababu to don cop roles. After doing a powerful cop role in Srikanth starrer Operation Duryodhana, he is now doing title role in the film Ek Police in the direction of Kodi Ramakrishna. Afresh, one more film titled Aranyam is launched, with Nagababu doing yet again the role of a strict police officer. Madala Ravi, son of Madala Rangarao, is costarring mega brother. The film is said to be on the contemporary politics in the state. The shoot was launched at a forest location near Vikarabad. Debutant Sridhar is director.

Maharadhi unit's sorry to Bhajrangdal
Bhajrangdal and voluntary organization Raksha have today notched a compromise deal over the controversy surrounding a song in Nandamuri Balakrishna's film Maharadhi, directed by P. Vasu. To note here, a duet in the film consisted of some renderings from the Suprabatham of Lord Venkateswara. Bhajrangdal approached the court, contending that the song amounted to disparage the spiritual interests of the Hindu community. Based on the complaint, the film unit got ready to apologize through Raksha. To this extent, producer Vakada Appa Rao and music director Gurukiran arranged press meet and informed about the compromise. Director Vasu also wrote to the Bhajrangdal seeking apology over hurting the religious sentiments through the lyric. Bhajrangdal representative Pratap and Raksha president CVL Narasimha Reddy took part in the meet.

Ravi Teja-Surender flick is Kick
A mass title Kick is being registered at the AP Film Chamber of Commerce and it is said to be the title for Ravi Teja-Surender film. Vakkauntapu Vamsi, who provides the script, and director Surender are hectically engaged to vital additions and deletions to the subject. Currently, Ravi Teja is busy with Neninthe, a Puri Jagan film. This proposed Kick will commence its shoot after this film. His Baladoor is set for release next month.

Ilayaraja voice to Gandhi's song
A moralizing lyric penned by Mahatma Gandhi was today unveiled in its audio form at Mohan Babu's educational institutions near Tirupati. Aditya Birla Group which procured the song decades ago has now presented it to the actor, who translated the song into Telugu during a presentation. The theme is unity, eulogizing the greatness of India. Maestro Ilayaraja rendered his voice to the song.

Blade Babji audio on July 21st
The audio of Blade Babji, an Allari Naresh film, is going to release on July 21st through Aditya Music. The film stars former Miss India Sayali Bhagath as heroine. Kausha and Rutika are two more girls costarring Naresh. Produced by Muthyala Satyakumar, it is directed by Devi Prasad. Koti is the music director. Kathanayakudu with 1200 prints
Pyramid Saimira is going to release Rajnikanth's bilingual film - Kathanayakudu in Telugu and Kuchelan in Tamil - with a startling 1200 prints all over the world on July 31st, it is confirmed. The movie trailer is set to hit the theatres in the next couple of days. Produced by Ashwini Dutt in Telugu, the flick is directed by P. Vasu. Jagapati Babu is costarring Rajni for the first time.
