Vyjayanthi to launch a TV channel
The prestigious banner Vyjayanthi that completed 30 years now is going to start a TV channel very soon. Swapna Dutt – elder daughter of Aswini Dutt – is taking active interest in this project and the recruitment process is going on now. They are planning to give a very local name to this channel to make sure that it would be owned by the viewers who love watching Telugu TV channels. Let’s hope that Aswini Dutt will succeed in small screen too the way he flourished with the big screen.

Vishal’s 6-pack for Salute
6-pack is in and guess the effect of it when a mass young hero like Vishal develops a perfect 6-pack and flaunts his body. As per the sources of idlebrain.com, there is an erotic and steamy song in the film which has some serious exposing of Nayana Tara and Vishal (with 6-pack abs). All earlier Vishal’s films were released in Telugu after they were released in Tamil and became hits. Salute is Vishal’s first straight Telugu film with ample Telugu actors. Kannada hero Upendra is also doing an important role. This film sports best of the technicians like Harris Jayaraj (music), RD Rajasekhar (cinematography), Anthony (editing) etc. Music is likely to be launched this month and the film is getting ready for the Independence Day release.

Suryakiran's next is Chapter 6
Director Suryakiran, who hit the path of limelight with Satyam couldn't repeat his magic later. Afresh, the director is tied up with producer Dr. Harinath Policharla, who will star as the hero. The film is titled Chapter 6. Kalyani (director's spouse) is set to play the heroine, sources said. Haranath Policharla debuted into Tollywod with the film Premayanamaha (as NRI dad of the heroine). Later, he produced Raja's film Vennela, followed by Alex (starring as solo hero). His last was Chandrahas, costarring superstar Krishna.

Mahesh fans Yagam for rains
Fans of Mahesh Babu today performed Sudharshan Yagam in a local temple at Chikkadpalli in Hyderabad. The ritual was said to have been performed seeking the betterment of social conditions. The recent social service activities of Krishna-Mahesh Babu fans gave vent to wide talk about their political intentions. However, comedian Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, who holds a key post in the government's cultural wing, clarified that Sudharshan Yagam was done to invoke the Rain god. The same event coincided with the birthday celebrations of chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy today, he said. He desired that the fans should undertake more and more acts of social service.

Actress Sri Vidya was no more
Veteran actress Sri Vidya (53) expired due to heart attack on Thursday (19 October 2006) at
Thiruvananthapuram. She was suffering fr cancer 4 a longtime. She entered into film industry at an age
of 13. She acted of more than 900 films of Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada n Telugu languages. She
won best actress award fr Kerala Government three times. May her soul rest of peace.

Desa Muduru of a brisk pace
Shooting of Allu Arjun - Puri Jagan’s latest film Desa Muduru was complete but 4 climax n four songs.
d shooting of climax will start on 22nd of tis month. Two songs will be shot of Hyderabad n two songs
will be canned of abroad. Allu Arjun was doing d role of a TV channel reporter. Puri Jagan criticized
d attitude of TV channels sensationalism of Pokiri film. Now we have to wait n see how Jagan was going
to make TV reporter hero work.

Sivaji’s Guru Swamy
Hero Sivaji was going to do a devotional film on Ayyappa Swamy titled ‘Guru Swamy’. tis film will go
to floors tis week n would be shot of 2 languages (Telugu n Tamil) with two units so tat this could
release 4 Ayyappa season which would start of d month of December. DR Nayak was making his debut as
director. A few sets of Ayyappa temple, Dwaja Stambam, Agni Gundam etc are being erected of Annapurna
studios. Producers are roping of established singers like SP Balasubramanyam n Vendemataram because
there was lot of market 4 songs on Ayyappa Swamy.

Chiranjeevi of Kerala
Chiranjeevi was currently of Kerala doing story discussions 4 his forthcoming film. Before d release
of Stalin, a couple of directors (P Vasu n Amma Rajasekhar) narrated storylines. But Chiranjeevi was
said to be considering two scripts, as per d sources of idlebrain.com. One of them was Telugu remake
of Lage Raho Munnabhai n d other one was biography of Vuyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. If he decides to do
Vuyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, Chiranjeevi himself will direct tis film. More details later.

BBD satellite 4 61 lakhs
Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw - Nidhi Prasad’s Telugu remake of ‘Malamal Weeky’ - made a sensation of
business circle when E TV bought d satellite rights of tis film 4 a staggering amount of 61 lakhs. d
budget of d film was 2.5 crores n tis satellite deal would fetch of ¼ of d budget. tis comedy film has
all major comedians doing fine roles. Audio of tis film will be released on 19th of d film near Durgam
Lake.

Adivaram Adavallaku Selavu
Raja Vannemreddy who directed ‘Kshemamga Velli Labhamga Randi’ was all set to direct another film
titled ‘Adivaram Adavallaku Selavu’. tis film will have d background of an apartment. Kovai Sarala was
doing d main lead of tis film. Sivaji, Brahmanandam n Venu Madhav play other important roles. Leela
Rani Vannemreddy was producing tis film. Dasari Padma launched d audio recording of tis film.
