Video documentary on Ghantasala
A Chennai-based cultural organization has brought out a documentary on the songs composed by famed playback singer and music director Ghantasala of the yesteryears. The documentary projecting the hit songs of Ghantasala will dwell into his experiences those days through the interviews of his contemporaries, mostly singers, music directors, directors and producers. The documentary is produced by Ghantasala's daughter-in-law Parvati Ghantasala. Janaki and PS Srinivas are associated with its publicity to benefit fans of Ghantasala worldwide. The documentary will be screened at important towns all over Andhra Pradesh.

Vijayshanti's thump for T-Students
Former actress and Talli Telangana party leader Vijayshanti saw the importance of the students' to go ahead with her separatist political philosophy. She floated a new Students body in the party. She says its time for those fighting for the Telangana cause to unite and realize the dream collectively. She considered the role of students in this mission very decisive.

Time for hilarious comedies
It's time for the small releases with no threat from big films in the coming weeks. Sivaji-Meera Jasmine combine film Maa Ayana Chanti Pilladu (remake of Tamil film En Purushan Kolandha Mari) is hitting the screens on July 19th. Raja Vannemreddy banks on Meera Jasmine's performance and says that the flick's main target is women audiences. Brahmanandam Drama Company (with tagline Heroine Jump) is set for release on July 11th. Making of the film started when Brahmanandam was busy with felicitations on his getting the coveted place in the Guinness Book of World Records. It is not only that the film's title is after the lead comedian, but he has also usurped prime space on the publicity designs. Both are touted as hilarious comedies.

Venky, Ramcharan at 7K City Run
The 7 K Run thrilled the health-conscious Hyderabadis today. It took off at Secunderabad grounds and culminated at St. Francis College. It was launched by Badminton player Pullela Gopichand. Film stars Venkatesh, Ramcharan Teja, Varun Sandesh and Cricketer VVS Lakshman were among the dignitaries who took part in the Run. Venkatesh and Ramcharan reciprocated the gesture of the participants with autographs and friendly interaction. Venkatesh said this kind of mass programs would bring in awareness among the youth and old as well about health. Hundreds of students joined the Run.

debut as director with tis film. He worked with Sukumar, YVS Chowdary, Singeetam n Dasari of d past.
Vishwa - a lyricist n singer - was making his debut as music director with tis film. Audio of tis film
will be released by Supreme music of d 2nd week of October. Producers are planning to release tis film
of d last week of October 2006.

Sairam Shankar film progress
Sairam Shankar (brother of Puri Jagan) was currently acting of a film tat was being directed by
debutant Sreerama. Suhasi was playing female lead. 40% of d talkie n 2 songs picturization was
complete so far. d unit will travel to Switzerland to shoot two songs of November. RP Patnaik scores
music. Producer Raghunath Sogi was planning to release d film of d month of December 2006.

After good success of Pandemkodi, Vishal was coming back again with another film titled ‘Pogaru’. d
Tamil original ‘Thimiru’ was a big hit. Reema Sen n Sriya Reddy are playing female leads. Yuan Shankar
Raja scores music. Tharun Gopi directed tis film. Audio of tis film was going to be launched of Hotel
Fortune Katriya tonight. GK Reddy was producing d Telugu version n he was distributing tis film on his
own using Mayuri distribution network. GK Reddy was planning to release d film on 13th of October.
