I will down curtains soon: Chiru
For the first time, actor Chiranjeevi broke his silence about his proposed political entry. Talking to a TV channel in New Delhi today, Chiranjeevi said that he would personally be downing the curtains on the suspense over his political party. So far, his brother Nagababu, brother-in-law Allu Arvind and key persons in CCT had made statements and even fixed the dates of Chiranjeevi's political party launch. However, the megastar didn't respond to this.

Rehman for Nag son's debut?
AR Rehman is likely to score music for the debut film of Nagarjuna's son Nagachaitanya, which will have its muhurt on September 20th, coinciding with the Birthday of ANR. Sameer Reddy handles the camera. Vasu Varma debuts as director. In case of any change in music director's option, the next probable will be Devi Sri Prasad.

Happy Birthday to Allari Naresh
Today (June 30th) is the birthday of Tollywood's busiest comedy hero Allari Naresh. However, the actor is not going to celebrate the occasion as a mark of respect to his friend Muddukrishna, a producer's son, who committed suicide recently. Naresh said he was the first person who used to greet him every year. "In all I am booked in 10 films so far. I usually take part in shooting on all my birthdays. Such movies always became hits. By year end, I will be doing a full-fledged villain role in a film. Though, people mostly look at me as a comedy hero, I want to be a versatile actor. It depends on the audience taste." CMPF in Pawan's Satyagrahi
Though actor Pawan Kalyan announced the launch of Common Man Protection Force (CMPF) on October 22nd, last year, nothing much is known about it in the days that followed. He had even allotted a corpus fund of Rs. 1 Crore from his total savings of "Rs. 1.32 Crore". The major and minor political parties and some social groups also apprehended that formation of such a force would result in heralding the cult of private armies in the state. All said and done, the CMPF will have its presence and activities onscreen, i.e. in Satyagrahi, which is tentatively scheduled to have its shoot from January 2009 with Pawan Kalyan directing it; and Nookarapu Suryaprakasa Rao producing it.

City Life audio on July 5th
The audio of City Life, a Venu Madhav starrer, is going to release on July 5th. Made on Perfect Visuals banner, it is directed by debutant Soudha. Producer is P. Venkateswara Rao. Music is by Pratap Vidyasagar. The film is said to be a hilarious comedy aimed at the youth segment in particular. The central point is the fate of a don in Old city (Hyderabad) in the face of globalization. RK plays the villain. It is set for release by July end.

Lakshmi Parvati, widow of NTR, today launched a counter attack against actor Balakrishna, saying "he is bringing disgrace to his father (NTR) by criticizing our relationship." Talking to reporters in Hyderabad, she said: "In fact, the local court of Narasaraopet in Guntur district granted me the divorce on April 15th, 1993. NTR announced at a public meeting (at Tirupati on September 10th, 1993) that he would marry me provided I should be willing for that. Based on my willingness, I and NTR became couple the next day as per the Hindu Marriages Act. I didn't marry him for his properties. The court recognized me as NTR's wife and included my name as member in the Basavatarakam Trust."

Teja's Kayka unit for Rajasthan
The unit of Teja's Kayka, starring debutants, will be moving to Rajasthan on a four-day schedule (Jul 6-9) for canning of a song sequence in the backdrop of desert and forts. But for this song, the entire shoot is said to be over. PC Sriram handles the camera. Music is by Chakri. Teja not only directs but also produces the film. Reports say Teja wants to release the audio of the film after its screen release.

Stalin. Picturization of d song was going on between Megastar Chiranjeevi n Trisha. With tis song, d
shooting part was over. After a long gap Khushboo was doing d role of sister n Vurwasi Sarada was
doing d mother character of Stalin of tis film. Currently d team of Stalin works on shifts to complete
d post production work 4 a smooth release of d movie on 20th September. Dubbing work was being done at
Sabdalaya Studio of Hyderabad; Rerecording was done at Mahathi Studio of Chennai.

Shiva 2006 on 14 Sep
Shiva 2006 was advanced by a day n was all set to release on 14th of September. Ram Gopal Varma
directed tis film with Mohit n Nisha Kothari playing main leads. Shiva 2006 revolutionizes corrupted
cop system. tis film was coming up with a powerful caption ’Polisule Nerastulaithe’. Maestro Ilayaraja

Producers caution against Prakash Raj
AP Film Producers Counsel has taken a decision to extend non-cooperation (sahaya nirakarana) to
Prakash Raj after going through a complaint launched d producer of film under production ‘Siddhu’.
Producers Counsel issued a circular cautioning producers not to sign Prakash Raj slating d above
reason. They are said tat AP Film Producer Counsel would not entertain any complaints on Prakash Raj
by producers who signed him after reading tis circular.

Okka Magadu 4 summer release
Pooja of YVS Chowdary’s latest film Okka Magadu (One n only) with Bala Krishna Nandamuri as hero was
held at 11:03 am at Annavaram on 28th August. tis film will go to floors of d month of October n will
be completed of a continuous schedule tat lasts till February 2006. There will be two heroines.
Prakash who developed d storyline of Devadasu was doing story development of Okka Magadu. Mani Sharma
was scoring music 4 d first time to YVS Chowdary. There will be seven songs. Posani Krishna Murali
lends his hand of story, screenplay n dialogues section. Chintapally Ramana pens dialogues. Vijayan
will compose fights. Chandrabose pens lyrics. Madhu A Naidu handles cinematography. Okka Magadu was
expected to release on 28th of April as summer 2007 special. Incidentally NTR’s Adavi Ramudu was also
released on d same day.

Bommarillu unit to tour USA
The unit of Bommarillu will be touring Nizam on 10th (Hyderabad city, shad nagar n Mehaboob Nagar),
11th (Siddipet, Kamareddy, Nizamabad n Karim Nagar) n 12th (Khammam, Kodada, Suryapet, Miryalaguda n
Nalgonda) of September. d Bommarillu unit will tour USA too of October or November.
