Action adventure Saroja on Sep 5
Srihari-Vaibhav combine film Saroja (a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu) is going to release on September 5th through Pyramid Saimira all over AP. Produced by T. Siva, it is directed by Venkat Prabhu, who earlier made Chennai-28. Srihari does a vital role as police officer. The film has the timeframe of 24 hours, stretching from 6.AM to 6.AM and presents a critical situation faced by a group of four youngsters. The producer said it is an action adventure. Glam doll Kajal is the heroine.

Rajasekhar held with revolver
Hero Rajasekhar and his spouse Jeevita Rajasekhar were detained at Samshabad airport today as a revolver was found in their baggage. The couple were about to leave to Chennai in connection with story discussions for a new movie. The actor clarified to the airport security that it was a licensed weapon, but was carried in a hurry. However, the query as to how they could carelessly handle a lethal weapon by dumping in baggage arose. The actor furnished the license later and brought back his weapon. This led to the stalling of the couple's Chennai trip.

Okkatavudam by September end
Okkatavudam, starring Kausal and Hamsa Nandini (of Anumanaspam fame), is going to release in the last week of September. Currently, its under postproduction works. Made on NR9 Cinema banner, it is produced by Srinu and Sangita Srinivasan. Direction is by debutant Muralikrishna. The story is about how a budding music director comes to Hyderabad all the way from Chennai to prove his mettle, but falls in love. The consequences later form the crux. Hero Rishi played a special role, while upcoming screen villain Murali Sharma did a vital role.

Congress youth leader Rahul Gandhi is said to have enquired about Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party and to what extent it would influence politics in Andhra Pradesh, it is reported. Incidentally, Rahul Gandhi visited Madanapalli in Chittoor district along with his sister Priyanka on August 26, the day when Chiranjeevi held his mammoth public meeting at Tirupati. It is observed that the enthusiastic crowds moving towards the pilgrim town didn't escape from the eyes of young Gandhi. It would be known in the coming months as to how Rahul would respond to the changing political scenario in the state

Vinayakudu audio at Shilparamam
The audio of Vinayakudu, starring Sonia (Happy Days girl) and debutant Krishnudu, is going to release on September 3rd (Vinayaka Chathurthi) at a grand function to be held at Shilparamam. The film is presented by Prem Kumar Patra, who earlier made critically acclaimed Aa Naluguru. The film is a romantic comedy with its theme – Love is not physical, but something that matters with two hearts. Shyam Prasan, a debutant, is the music director.
